Our school holiday event this year ran from Wednesday to Sunday and featured frogs of all types ... and 283 visitors.
In the depths of winter with rain forecast each day, it never actually rained during the hours of the event!
Visitors followed a trail of lily pads around the Museum. In line with COVID restrictions each lily pad specified how many humans were allowed in a room, but also the minimum number of frogs present. Children loved counting how many frogs there actually were.
Friends, Lauren, Emily and Krupa, counted a record 397 frogs on the Sunday.
Numerous frog facts and fiction were on show , including the 'Wisdom of Kermit'.
Hands-on activities included making a frog - a hopping cardboard frog, a play dough frog ... even a threaded frog.
