HERITAGE ON SUNDAY - Miniature Magic Sunday 21 June 2015

Jenny Curnow and seven other members of the SA Miniature Enthusiasts displayed their miniature craft throughout the Museum.

Jenny has been involved in this intricate work for 25 years, re-creating places she has been on holidays, and accepting greater challenges from friends. One of these was to make something in a lipstick tube. It features a rose garden with chair, including knitting on a side table.

Jenny knits standard size for the Museum Gift Shop, but for miniatures uses single-thread cotton or 52-gauge silk gauze.

130 visitors attended the afternoon, with 36 serves of scones sold.
