HERITAGE ON SUNDAY - Spring in the Garden Sunday 18 September 2016

Fortunately the weather was very kind considering some of the storms in the previous week.

As well as view the many museum displays and the working blacksmith, visitors were able to meet the Friends of Anstey Hill, Trees for Life, Adelaide Snake Catchers and The Orchid Club of SA.

Many visitors also purchased a potted plant to start off spring in their own garden.

Gill Starks introduced our newest display - Carts to Cars.

Geoff Francis spoke of the background to the display and the involvement of the Tea Tree Gully Lions Club. The display was declared open by Amanda James from History SA, which provided a grant towards the interpretation work. The designer, Richard Browning, was on hand to view the final implementation.
