(Hover mouse over room to see image and description)

The main feature is an 1855 map of eastern Australia. Come and read comments by early explorers.

Cots, carriage, baby walker, a selection of toys and dress of the day may make this your favourite room.

Set up as a formal dining room, the beautiful china table setting is part of a 12 place set.

This area displays various temporary exhibits.

This room currently features 'Miss Nelly's Bedtime'.

Night-gowns, lingerie and beauty aids used by women in the era 1890 to 1950.

Early Victorian chrome and iron bedstead create a charming atmosphere, while the 'en-suite' of hipbath, marble washstand and unusual water jug adds a truly authentic touch.

Various temporary exhibits are displayed at the front of the upstairs landing - currently 'We Remember Them'.

Dedicated to Hilda Roach who was the first to bequeath her estate to the National Trust of S.A.

This level is not suitable for disabled access due to narrow, steep stairs.
